Job Summary

On behalf of First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited (FMMFB), BlueBrain Services Ltd are looking to hire an experienced Teller and Customer Service Officer who would assist customers with processing transactions and providing clarity in accordance with the bank’s financial and security regulations and procedures.

About the Hiring Organisation

First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited is a contemporary microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2009. The bank provides traditional microfinance services to customers as well as support to smallholder farmers through cooperative micro-lending schemes that focus on enhancing smallholder farmer productivity and capacity in the Agribusiness space.

Job Purpose

The Teller and CSO is responsible for assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions, in accordance with the bank financial and security regulations and procedures

Job Description

·       Provide excellent customer service on a consistent basis

·       Market and promote the bank products and respond to inquiries

·       Inform customers of new services and products

·       Assist customer with the opening of account

·       Process deposits and withdrawals to customer accounts, including maintenance and inter-bank transfers

·       Ensure all transactions are posted correctly

·       Balance cash daily, track bank information and generate required reports

·       Track, record, report, and store information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete

·       Attended to customers issues and concerns

·       Maintain a clean, organized work area and a professional appearance

·       Any other duties assigned as reasonably requested

 

Competencies Required

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other relevant field is required

·       At least 2-4 years of experience in microfinance bank or related role

·       Computer Literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite   

·       High level of commitment and enthusiasm

·       Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English, Pidgin English, and any Nigerian language

·       Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities

·       Outstanding team player and willingness to learn and support learning of others

·       Confident, attentive to details, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and a quick learner

·       Present professional behavior and outlook always
