On behalf of First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited (FMMFB), BlueBrain Services Ltd is looking to hire an experienced Head of Finance and Administration to carry out the duties of business planning, budgeting, forecasting, negotiations, and administrative functions in the company.

First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited is a contemporary microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2009. The bank provides traditional microfinance services to customers as well as support to smallholder farmers through cooperative micro-lending schemes that focus on enhancing smallholder farmer productivity and capacity in the Agribusiness space.

The Head of Finance & Administration will be responsible for the planning, implementing, managing, and running of all the financial activities of the First Multiple Micro-Finance Bank
Job Description
- Lead the day-to-day finance & Administration operations and ensure the development of SMART goals with clear KPIs. Drive their achievement to spur growth.
- Participate in driving the company’s strategic financial plans.
- Drive all financial forecasting and budget preparation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory financial reporting.
- Ensure all Financial returns are prepared and filed with relevant authorities.
- Use Financial Data to guide business direction.
- Liaise with the FMMFB bankers and ensure all bank accounts are always properly reconciled and filed.
- Prepare and file all relevant periodic reports with the CBN.
- Maintain healthy relationships with professional bodies, senior management, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive FMMFB organization culture.
- Review, update and implement organization policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
- Oversee and manage the assets of the organization.
- Provide strategic input and direction for the development of performance targets.
- Continuously monitor team to ensure achievement of set KPIs.
- Facilitate and present periodic business performance reports to the Board.
- Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Senior Management.
Competencies Required
- A Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other related field.
- A diploma or Certification by an accounting or Banking professional body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Microfinance Certification in Microfinance Banking issued by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
- Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience within the financial services industry
- Experience implementing and/or using an MIS within the financial services industry.
- A thorough understanding of microfinance performance metrics/indicators and the ability to interpret and process operations data.
- Excellent understanding of loans and lending procedures.
