Job Summary

On behalf of First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited (FMMFB), BlueBrain Services Ltd are looking to hire an experienced Marketing Officer to assist in increasing the firm’s product visibility to potential clients.

About the Hiring Organisation

First Multiple Microfinance Bank Limited is a contemporary microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2009. The bank provides traditional microfinance services to customers as well as support to smallholder farmers through cooperative micro-lending schemes that focus on enhancing smallholder farmer productivity and capacity in the Agribusiness space.

Job Purpose

The Marketer is responsible for meeting marketing goals. Duties will include marketing products and services to potential clients.

 

Job Description

·       Meet and or exceed marketing target

·       Achieve set deposit target, investment deals from private, public individuals and corporate

·       Identify prospective customers and promote the bank and banking products / services to prospective customers

·       Promote the bank through exhibitions, displays, and preparation of promotional items and schemes as well as implementing and evaluating the results of such schemes

·       Assist in establishing and implementing bank’s products advertising, sales, promotion, and marketing research objectives

·       Test market new products

·       Establish the products sales potential and its characteristics and draw up sales forecasts based on these

·       Approach customers with the aim of winning new business

·       Meet with existing customers to strengthen business relationship with a view to increase financial growth of the company

·       Aggressively market the company's products to ensure favorable market response and optimum build-up of revenue

·       Assist in liaising with and monitoring of Advertising Agencies in the areas of media planning, selection, placement, and copyright

·       Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth

·       Identifying emerging markets with business opportunities that align with company’s business goals

·       Group formation & group management in line with the bank’s policy

·       Assist in liaising with operations colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction

·       Optimizing collection channels with a view of cutting cost

·       Check through all the pass books from the field and thoroughly vet between passbooks, and withdrawal registers (quarterly)

·       Day to Day record keeping

·       Prepare weekly and monthly reports

·       Assist in preparing annual budgets of the department and control its implementation

·       Implement marketing strategies/ programs laid out by the company to boost profit

·       Know your customers (KYC) and market analysis

·       Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)

·       Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness

·       Any other duties assigned

Competencies Required

·    B.sc/HND marketing or social science course

·       3-4 years’ experience in a microfinance bank

·       Experience in marketing

·       Verbal communication skill is key

·       High level of commitment and enthusiasm

·       Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English, Pidgin English, and any Nigerian language

·       Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities

·       Outstanding team player and willingness to learn and support learning of others

·       String interpersonal relationship skills

·       Present professional behavior and outlook always
