BlueBrain Services Ltd are looking to hire an experienced Truck Fleet Manager that will oversee the daily planning and supervsion of operations in the transport and logistics unit. The Truck Fleet Manager is also responsible for routine maintenance to ensure all trucks are in good condition at all times.

Job Purpose
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet trucks.
Job Description
· Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
· Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
· Developing efficient driver schedules and policies.
· Managing truck drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
· Acquiring, registering, and licensing all vehicles.
· Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance/management to ensure operational efficiency.
· Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
· Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
· Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition.
· Establish and monitor purchasing, operational and replacement strategies, and practices for most cost-effective operation.
· Develop and implement training modules for vehicles and equipment use and care.
· Ensure unit compliance with all Federal, State & Local laws and regulations related to truck repair operations and mobile equipment use and care
· Perform any other duties that may be assigned
Competencies Required
· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in logistics or accounting or in any related field.
· 2+ years of relevant experience.
· Experience in the transportation industry.
· Outstanding organizational skills.
· Good communication, interpersonal skills and writing skills.
· Excellent communication skills (spoken) in English, Pidgin English, and Hausa. Proficiency in any other language is an advantage.
· Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliverables and stay on schedule.
· Outstanding team player.
· Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
· Quantitative ability and atention to detail.
