Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for improving the brand recognition and financial growth of the project. They would be required to coordinate with the marketers and executives to review the market margins to devise and propose business ideas on how to improve the project revenue margins.

Job Description
  •       Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are carried out.
  •       Conduct relevant research to identify new markets and customer needs for the project.
  •       Responsible for planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and improving sales.
  •       Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to management.
  •       Manage timely data collection for the project and update operations to achieve productivity targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  •       Responsible for contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  •        Responsible for developing timely promotional strategy, organizing sales campaigns and activities with the marketing department, and executing them.
  •       Executing sales forecasts and analysis and presenting the findings to senior management for deliberation.
  •       Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and clients to ensure smooth/proper business operations of the organization.
  •       Required to work strategically in carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes in the project.
  •       Prepare monthly reports on the business development activities for management.
  • Carry out all other duties as assigned by the Management team whilst providing administrative support.
Competencies Required

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

·        Experience in sales, marketing, or related field.

·        Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

·        Excellent Report Writing skills

·        Knowledge of Agribusiness is a plus.

·        Strong I.T knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

·        Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage competing priorities

·        Outstanding team player and willing to learn and support the learning of others

·        High level of commitment, honesty, and enthusiasm.

·      Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills.

·        Excellent verbal, and written communication and research skills.

·        Ability to pay attention to detail.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills.
